Cake and Gravel Roads...Nothing Better
The beautiful weather on Sunday made the shop a little nutz yesterday, thus the delay of any photos from the Harris-Roubaix. Record crowds at Court Square rolled out to the "Chambers Farm" to experience the beautiful 15 mile loop that SVBC had set up! Thanks to everyone who came out and participated.

A warm Monday...But snow still sits up high!
[caption id="attachment_99" align="aligncenter" width="392" caption="Recovering at top...Climbing can hurt so good."][/caption]
Sunday was the day we have been waiting for, warm temperatures, Sun and not that much wind. The upper elevations west of town still have snow, keeping winter going into April. Canaan Valley was the big winner of white stuff with a foot of new snow for the ski lovers. The European Road Race, "Tour of Flanders" was a beautiful battle, gettting local folks for Harrisonburg's Spring Classic, "Harris-Roubaix", 12 noon this Sunday. Tonight is the year's first SVBC Social Mountain Bike Ride- Mud Pond...a favorite for all, meet at Union Springs Dam at 5:30pm.

Sunny Saturday...Yes the Sun is shinning!
[caption id="attachment_96" align="aligncenter" width="300" caption="It beats walking!!"][/caption]
The Sun is shinning on this Saturday, a welcome change from the week of over cast skies. Don't let the Sun fool you, it still has a chill to the air with emphasis on wind. The forecast for Sunday looks great, perfect conditions for the Dragon's Tale Race. Macrock (Mid Atlantic College Radio Conference) has invaded Harrisonburg, another great event to Downtown. With over 100 bands in town, music is plentiful!
