The Scouts have been out!! Flagpole Knob looks perfect for Super Bowl Sunday's Ride.

SBC Scouts (Trevor and Thomas) went to Flagpole Knob (highest point in Rockingham County) at sunrise this morning to give you the latest report/conditions for Sundays Super Bowl Sunday Ride.

From our 20+ years of experiencing Super Bowl Sunday on Shenandoah Mountain, 2014 will not disappoint.  Expect the road to be mostly clear until you hit the last mile of pavement prior to the saddle, from this point forward your tires will be mostly on the white stuff.  How much white stuff you ask? We predict a ride-able base of 1-5", with some 2' drifts that will keep your tires wanting to be in the truck ruts. As usual Flagpole Knob will be deprive of snow due to consistent westerly winds, perfect for a quick game of football...

SBC's Trek and Ibis Demo Day

You heard it here first. Shenandoah Bicycle Company will hold a spring demo day on:

Sunday March 30, 2014 

with both Trek and Ibis demo trucks. As usual we will be out at Massanutten's Western slope and will have plenty of food, drinks, and bikes for you to ride. You will be able to ride all the latest 2014 Trek bikes such as the new Fuel EX 29er, the Remedy 29er and the Remedy 27.5. Let's not forget about the Trek Domane along with the the Ibis Ripley 29er the Ibis Mojo HDR 650 and don't forget the Ibis Hakkalugui Disc cross bike. Ibis only makes carbon bicycle frames. Period.
