Bring your Friends, bring your neighbors, you are all invited to come and hang out at the Shenandoah Bicycle Company this Friday. For our Industry Nine Wheels Party. Please join us for a fun evening of food, drinks, and also some select sale items. Jake Thompson and company will make the drive from Asheville up to the 'Burg to show us some wheels, bring demo wheels, and to just hang out and be available for questions.

You have to know anything about Industry Nine Wheels to show up. Instead you can rely on a good time with good people. For those of you interested in trying some wheels, Jake is bringing up a few demo sets that can be tested on Saturday rides. Rain brings the trails to life!

The Valley has had some heavy rains as of late, and even though this might put a kink into some of your riding plans it helps everything grow. With the spring moisture the Rocktown Trails at Hillandale Park have gone from a dark and grey landscape to a vibrant green forest with beautiful dark lines for folks to enjoy.

Blue Ridge Parkway - Vasuvius, VA.

With the record breaking warm temperatures (It is still offically winter) bikes are out and about everywhere, especially road bikes. Yesterday 94' JMU grad Adam Krop was in town to get a taste of some of the great road riding in the Valley, a 60 mile road ride near Vasuvius, VA....great back roads with only 20 cars passing all day long! Kyle is down farther south in Georgia for the annual spring riding camp hosting by 99' JMU grad, Oliver Quinn!

It is bike camping season!

With the weather turning steadily towards spring dreams of camping and the outdoors can transition into plans and action!  Whether you're riding across the county, state or country there is nothing quite like spending a night camping after pedaling to your destination.  I was taking a photo of Collin in our camping display when a real adventurer came into our shop,  He didn't want his picture taken due to his aversion to publicity, but he did allow us to document his bike;  a Salsa Fargo!  A bike he has found to be the best for his heavy load touring.  He likes to carry all kinds of creature comforts with him.  The solar panel is to power his TV!
