[/caption]It was a beautiful weekend for the 23rd Annual Massanutten Hoo Ha Mountain Bike Race. With two days of racing there events for all...Kids Races, Super D, Short Track and a full day of cross country racing on Sunday. Thanks to all the volunteers from Massanutten, the Shenandoah Valley Bicycle Coalition and Shenandoah Mountain Touring who all worked together to make this event such a success. Harrisonburg did it's best to keep as many titles local with wins in the Pro Race, Veteren Expert, XXC, Junior Expert and many other classes.
Saturday's Daily New Record had some good cycling press with an article on the new Rockingham County Bicycle Commission. SVBC volunteers have been working together to help create this new group that will be assisting Rockingham County to help make the area better for cyclist, which will also make it safer for car drivers
