12 December 2011

Tonight is the monthly meeting of the minds at the  Shenandoah Valley Bicycle Coalition Social at Clementine where fellow cyclists of all types can eat, drink, and hang out. Good times are had by all so make sure to come out tonight and support your local cycling scene! This weekend made for excellent "chilly" conditions to get out on the bike on both road and mountain. Kyle and others sought out to conquer Elliot Knob, the highest point in the GWNF, not once but twice making a figure eight route that was sure to put them in the Hurt Locker. Collin, David, and Paul went out with Spagehtti Legs Team Manager Scott Wootten, Cycling News' Sue George, Matthew, Collin W., and Chad in the National Forest to ride, take in some views, and record some video on Lookout Mountain. This Thursday will be another installment of SBC's Winter Bike Maintenance Clinic. This week Tim and others from the SBC staff will be going over shifting and gear adjustments. Ever had that shifting that was never spot on , weird noises coming from the derailleur? Well come out and learn how to tune you own derailleurs! Until Next Time, Go Ride Bikes!
